In my experience, the word “competition” sometimes scares people. They imagine a gladiator dual to the death or golf equivalent. Although the reality is competitions at club level could be easily substituted for “social gathering”.
They provide a time and place for members and friends to meet and mix, giving them the chance to meet others with the same interests as them.
Our Friday Roll Up competitions are just that. You don’t even have to inscribe, just show up if you feel like having a game and a fun afternoon. The competitions social gatherings have been popular since we started in November, below are all the winners during the month. Congratulations to all.
