La Resina has its first captain! Two candidates, both of whom have been a tremendous support since the beginning of the renovation project, were shortlisted; Willy Bloeman from Belgium and Peter Domeij from Sweden.
What better way to decide than a team match. 2-2 at lunch, 4-4 at full time, it took a sudden death playoff to reach a result. A par was good enough to see Peter as captain for 2025, Willy will support as vice-captain until 2026. Fantastic day, thanks to all who attended – a big step forward for the club.
In January’s newsletter you will be introduced formally to both Peter and Willy who will represent the club during 2025-2026.
