On Saturday 18th of January we held a surprise last minute tournament from the Golf Friends Junior Circuit. Their scheduled course was cancelled two days before the event and one of the juniors father recommended they try La Resina. They were pleasantly surprised, not knowing about the renovations and work carried out over the last few years.
Seventy-four children and their families attended the competition which ran like clockwork, albeit car parking almost reached Monte Selwo. They are keen to return and thanked the club and its members for providing the course to them and the future generation of golfers.
In May we have scheduled the other junior circuit, that was here in 2023, to come back again. We will be in touch regarding helpers for the day such as referees and buggy transport.
