In the second edition of what is our closing ceremony of the year, the current captain’s team play against the incoming captain’s team in a Ryder Cup style format. Willy, the vice-captain and his team had a landslide victory 4-0, getting his revenge for last year’s defeat.
A formal gala dinner in the evening closes out the proceedings as Peter steps down and transitions the captaincy over to 2026’s captain Willy Bloeman. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Peter for all of his work and contributions during 2025. He has been an incredible ambassador for the club with his welcoming and fun demeanor in competitions, representation outside the club and general good vibes. Thank you Peter.
Willy will be sworn in during the official Captain’s Drive In competition in early January, get that one in your calendars now. Also, Willy announced his new vice-captain for 2026 – David Bicker from Germany.
